How to Prepare the Perfect Turkey

The secret’s in the brine. Salt causes meat to absorb more water and juices, making it tender and juicy. How to make a simple brine:

  1. Dissolve kosher salt and brown sugar into water and vegetable broth in a container large enough for your bird.
  2. Add the turkey along with any other ingredients and seal the container.
  3. Store the container in a fridge for 14-30 hours.
  4. Remove the turkey and give it a rinse with cold water and pat dry.
